Mozart's Idomeneo 10AM EST today on WHFR - What's Opera, Doc? - Pavavrotti, Janowitz, Lewis

Mozart's Idomeneo 10AM EST on WHFR - What's Opera, Doc? - Pavavrotti, Janowitz, Lewis.

This live recording from the Royal Albert Hall in 1964 features the Pav at his best in the role of Idamante, which is sometimes sung by a mezzo. The cast also fetaures Gundula Janowitz as Ilia, Sir Richard Lewis as the title character, and Sir John Pritchard conducts the London Philharmonic Orchestra.

Don't know where else to leave this. You weren't on this morning, May 9th. Have they cancelled you or moved you? Hope not!

my show is done as a volunteer(sigh) so sometimes work gets in the way. I try to notify listeners ASAP if the show will not air, but was unable to this week. Tune back in next week, thanks!!
