Mozart's Idomeneo 10AM EST on WHFR - What's Opera, Doc? - Pavavrotti, Janowitz, Lewis.

This live recording from the Royal Albert Hall in 1964 features the Pav at his best in the role of Idamante, which is sometimes sung by a mezzo. The cast also fetaures Gundula Janowitz as Ilia, Sir Richard Lewis as the title character, and Sir John Pritchard conducts the London Philharmonic Orchestra.

my show is done as a volunteer(sigh) so sometimes work gets in the way. I try to notify listeners ASAP if the show will not air, but was unable to this week. Tune back in next week, thanks!!
